St Ursula’s matrics collect their golden tickets

St Ursula’s matriculants celebrate the end of an era while looking forward to new adventures after receiving their final results.

Matriculants of St Ursula’s took their final bow as they collected their results after countless sleepless nights and long hours of studying.

The long period of anxiety and stress was finally over as the matriculants stepped onto school grounds for the last time to collect their final report as high school students.

As they received their so-called ‘golden ticket’, marking both the end of their school days and the start of a new journey, many shared their plans for the future.

Khanya Maseko and Karabo Lebeko.

Among them, Lillian Gilbert, one of the school’s top performers with three distinctions, revealed she will be pursuing her studies in KZN. Former head boy Tshenolo Dampies, who earned five distinctions, is set to attend Wits University.

Khanya Maseko reflected on the bittersweet feeling of leaving school.

“When one door closes, another opens. We will miss school dearly, but we are excited for what life has in store. We all grew up together over the years, and saying goodbye is never easy, but that is how we grow,” Khanya concluded.
