We at Asilweni Cleaning Streets is asking for urgent assistance.
We are an NGO based in Krugersdorp. We are requesting assistance from the community, government, businesses and anybody out there that can help us, please.
We deal with cleaning streets of drugs and prostitution, as we all know it is a problem that has escalated and has destroyed the dignity of the city and the respect for people that live in and around West Rand.
We have several programs that we are doing on the West Rand and we require urgent assistance to get an office and office equipment to work from so we can implement all our programmes.
We are calling upon anybody out there with a office or house to spare for us to work from to please help us as we have to launch other programmes as soon as possible. And you can also help us raise funds to rent offices if we don’t get offered any space.
We would like to move in immediately so we can start working.
Your help will be greatly appreciated as we have a lot to do to reclaim our city.
We will be launching a campaign this coming week known as Know your Neighbour in the whole of West Rand , having said that we require volunteers that would like to work with us in all the areas.
These are our requirements; you must have completed matric, somebody that knows the community, somebody that can communicate with the society, somebody that will be willing to assist members of the community at any time if help is needed, somebody willing to learn new things and somebody that will understand that they have to keep all the work they do confidential.
