Monster, we know who you are

Shannon Beyl from Krugersdorp North writes:

On Sunday morning 15 September, a neighbour found our young Maine Coon cat impaled and hanging upside down from the palisade fence of his neighbour.

He climbed a ladder to help our cat off the spikes but the cat fell into the neighbour’s yard.

The cat dragged himself through the fence and tried to make his way home but could go no further.

Another neighbour came and called us to tell us our cat was lying in the road.

We went to fetch him and found him lying there paralysed.

We rushed him to the vet who took a day to stabilise him and when they X-rayed him, they found a pellet lodged against his spine.

Treatment so far has cost over R10 000 and it only has been a week.

He is paralysed but there is a chance that he might recover. He is being treated by a specialist vet.

To the monster who shot him with a pellet gun and paralysed him and left him hanging from a spiked fence, we know who you are, the whole street knows who you are, and you will get what you deserve.

To all pet lovers in The Avenue in Krugersdorp North, please look after your pets.

This monster is not satisfied shooting animals that wander onto his premises, he also shoots animals in other people’s properties.

He shoots birds sitting on his neighbours’ roofs, and the corpses are left lying there, and at least three cats have been killed in the last year.

Are our children next?

The police is not interested, and we can not do anything without catching him in the act. But listen you monster, we are watching you and you will be caught.

You are not a human being; no human being would be so callous and cruel.

You are not an animal either; no animal would be so inhumane, so you are worse than an animal.
