It leaves a bad taste Mogale

Alan Walker from Seahorse Swim School in Kenmare writes:

Your eventual notification on your website relating to disruptive water supplies has reference.

This has been an ongoing problem during September and October.

It is difficult to believe that the advised maintenance can extend for such long periods. We again are to have disruptive/ no water supply for the period 14 to 21 October.

This leaves a bad taste in the mouth for Mogale City residents and in particular businesses who rely on servitudes being provided optimally.

Clearly Mogale City Council is failing its residents and albeit comments are made about an ailing infrastructure, little – if anything – appears to have been done to ensure upgrading and maintenance over the past 20 years!

This does not bode well for the image of Mogale City, nor does it encourage investment into our city!

I implore your Executive Committee to attend to matters of such nature promptly and ensure that the work undertaken in effecting repairs is of such a standard that we will not be left without basic services again.

I trust that the parties now contracted are experienced and that they are to be held accountable for the work undertaken.
