Just talk to someone

Local suicide survivor writes:

The pressures of today are different from those of yesterday.

So are the issues, the problems, the fears, the anxieties. The only constant in sorting out these factors, is communication. Talk from the beginning. It’s easy, everybody can do it. Teenagers: others share your anxieties and fears, whatever they may be. Talk to someone, a friend, an elder, someone you know, anyone!

Your future doesn’t have to be borne by you alone. In this way, suicide can be taken out as an option. The matric results are due soon, and no matter what they are, no result is that bad that there is no hope for the future!

Friends, suicide is real. It’s here. Let’s prevent it, together.

In that same vein, suicide survivors are those loved ones left behind. Don’t desert them and don’t judge what you cannot possibly understand.
