God bless you Mandla

Anita van Rensburg from Krugersdorp writes:

On Monday 3 March at 5pm I was returning to Krugersdorp from Chamdor Faktry.

Less than a kilometre away my car lost power and stopped near the robot.

I realised I left my cell phone at home. What a predicament! I had put in R300 petrol the previous day. It was raining, I got out and saw all my petrol was running down the little stream that had formed from the rain. I called a young man walking on the sidewalk, told him my problem and asked to use his cellphone and I would pay to use it.

I got hold of my children after several phone calls, they came and fixed the car (now standing on empty) and we made it to the nearest garage – power in prayer!

Please publish my letter because I want to say a very big thank you to Mandla Qumede working at Blasting and Sand papering. When I wanted to pay him

R60 for the phone calls, kindness and help, he refused to take the money, he only took R20!

I insisted he take the rest, he was my “life-line”.

Thank you Mandla and God bless you, you are a wonderful man, caring and helpful.
