I have just read the letter I will not pay from Leonie Hayes in the 16 May edition of the news.
I’m having the same problem where Mogale City charged me R142,50 which they say is for notices. I have raised this issue with Mr Tebjane who ignored my three emails before I physically went to their offices.
To start with I told him I’m not receiving accounts and he arrogantly told me people claim they don’t receive accounts, which is not true. I felt angered about this as I feel he was lying.
I’m not leaving my issue just like that, I have taken extra measures around this.
I hope if people with the same issues come forward this council will listen to their paying customers in future.
