On Monday 13 April I received the most dreaded phone call of my life.
My husband was involved in a motorbike accident on CR Swart Drive in Roodepoort.
I would like to express a great big thank you to Paul Albrecht who witnessed the accident and took the time to stop and help. He contacted the necessary authorities and ambulance services and saw to it that my husband was taken care of on the scene.
When he phoned me just after 8am to inform me of what had happened, he was calm and very helpful. He assured me that my husband was okay and talking to him.
When I got to the scene half an hour later he was still there waiting for me to hand me all my husband’s belongings and info about what had happened.
In today’s life and times, angels like Paul are few and far between. I thank my lucky stars that he was there to help.
Once again, thank you Paul. May your kindness and caring for your fellow man be rewarded and blessed.
I definitely will pay it forward when in a similar situation.
