Now that we have received the good news from the Municipal Demarcation Board that the establishment of the metro on the West Rand will not realise before the 2016 local elections, I hereby express my sincere thanks to all the residents who signed our petitions to strengthen our case.
To those residents and our DA colleagues who gave verbal inputs during the meetings at the Centenary Hall, we do appreciate your interest and contributions.
Residents and especially the women in Ward 18 who assisted me with the signatures, doing house calls and helping at our information tables at Anthos Centre, thank you.
