I would like to express my utmost disappointment in a woman who came into a hairdressing salon while there where customers; and the way in which she spoke to the owner was atrocious.
This woman allegedly had booked six months prior to do her hair, unfortunately the owner’s partner fell ill and was admitted to hospital during the week prior to this particular woman’s wedding.
The owner phoned the woman on the day her partner was admitted and asked if she please could come into the salon on the Friday to have her hair done there instead, as there was no one else to manage the salon, and the partner had matric pupils and other clients who needed to have their hair done also and also had booked their appointments way in advance.
We as human beings have no control over illness, and this woman treated the owner with the greatest of disrespect; swearing at her and telling her all she cared about was money.
Let me just tell you, as a person who owns a business, the owner was not concerned about the money, she was concerned about keeping all the clients happy. I am sure all her clients will agree, the owner is the most accommodating and wonderful woman that will go the extra mile for everyone. She opens the salon at six in the morning for some of us who need to be at work and cannot get there in time in the afternoons, and everything doesn’t just revolve around you.
The fact that your future husband then (now your husband) came to the salon shortly after you slammed the security door and almost broke the glass and drove your bakkie on two wheels when you left the salon, to apologise for your behaviour is enough to tell you that your behaviour was totally uncalled for and atrocious.
I think you owe the owner a huge apology, and just think about other people from now on and not just yourself.
