It is with deep regret that after many years of support for the DA to lead the Krugersdorp municipality, we now discover that they are no different to the previous ANC municipality.
After writing to our DA councillor several times and including a number of photographs regarding a serious contravention in our street in Rant-en-Dal, where a new resident has started running a construction business with up to 30 workers congregating on the pavement every morning and afternoon, trucks being loaded and offloaded, and workers changing clothes, urinating and leaving all sorts of litter in their wake every day, we have, since our first email dating back to October 2016, not even received a simple acknowledgement of correspondence.
A poor show of service to those of us who so readily voted for a change to the previous apathy and disinterest we endured from the ANC-managed Krugersdorp municipality.
