The leader of the EFF, Julius Malema, has been quiet and out of the spotlight. Recently Malema held a press conference to address a number of political issues confronting our country. As always, he captivated his audience – the media.
During the press conference, he apologised to the nation for supporting the candidacy of Busi Mkhebana, now the Public Protector. He said Mkhwbana is going to “collapse that office”, referring to the Public Protector’a office.
To jog your memory: Malema had previously apologised to the nation for bringing us president Jacob Zuma. He then apologised for insulting the deceased Aids activist Khwezi. Next he apologised to former president Thabo Mbeki for leading a campaign to oust him.
There is a pattern here: He’s fast becoming NS ‘ubabes woku’ apologiser.
Soon he will apologise for forming the EFF. It’s a bad track record.
This makes one wonder if he thinks before acting, or he acts and thinks after?
But on a positive note: Malema should be commended for apologising.
It’s very uncharacteristic of politicians to apologise. The former President Mandela was one politician who had no issues with apologising.
So the EFF leader is one out of a million.
