I would like to congratulate and thank Thabile Mange for writing such a wonderful letter.
You seem to be a person who does not live in the past and tries to find solutions for the future of all South Africans.
You are so right about the development that was made previously and that we all should help to keep up the maintenance of everything instead of destroying it.
The people elected to represent the communities of the town were not elected to represent any political party, but to care for the welfare of the constituencies and find solutions to their problems. [But] we seem to vote for ghost councillors – we hear about them but never see them.
All the local governments and national governments are businesses and should be managed as businesses by professional business people and not by political pawns.
I can see that you are a person with guts who could be a very good community leader. The people of South Africa need such a person and [should] give [him or her] their full support.
I just hope that you will also not become a victim of dirty tactics, and that your letter will be published in all the newspapers throughout South Africa.
