A construction group was tasked to lay fiber optic cables in my neighbourhood, in Rangeview Extension 4.
All the pavements were dug up to lay the cables underground, which we residents do not have a problem with. We do however have a problem with the chaos left behind when they finished the job.
The pavements have not been filled up evenly and most of the driveway paving has been reinstated like a dog’s behind.
Why is Mogale City not following up on this, as they have given permission for this company to dig trenches on our pavements?
We residents have planted grass and maintained it as well over the years. Is it now our responsibility to purchase top soil to level up the pavements again, and who will reimburse us for the cost involved?
