A little bit of good news

Desiree Adam from Krugersdorp writes:

I think we can all agree that when we speak about “news”, it’s generally negative, but I’d like to tell a story of a Krugersdorp business with a great big heart.

I unfortunately had to experience the death of my mother recently. In the last year or so, my mom and I had our bonding days at a local nail salon and every two weeks we met there, spoiled ourselves and enjoyed our catch-ups.

Upon my most recent visit there with my sister, the salon heard of our loss and to my great uplifting surprise, when I came to pay, the team had a card ready and waiting, expressing their condolences. In this day and age, these tiny gestures are rarely heard of and it touched our heart. The next morning, I woke up to a call from the florists asking to deliver a breathtaking bouquet from the team.

I am a firm believer in “the wheel turns”, and I would like all the Krugersdorp readers to know that there are good people around us, and that I was blessed enough to experience great service, rare service, service from the heart.

I will forever have the utmost respect for the nail salon team, and thank them for caring.
