I would like to ask the Mayor when he plans to sort out and look at the ongoing electricity issues we have in this town.
I, and many others, have written about this, on many occasions, and neither the DA or the ANC are prepared to resolve it, so I say to you, Mr Mayor, what are your plans going forward?
I live in a townhouse complex where your municipality has installed a trip switch on the box, for the geyser to go off twice a day automatically.
I can sit and show you a detailed record of how often I purchase electricity, given that we do not have a helper, and everyone is away from home from 5:30am until 6:30pm.
I know you gave your staff bonuses last year and there was mention that our tariffs would go up, but I fail to understand how the units disappear so fast when residents are not at home.
Can I assume it is fraud on your municipality’s part; and can you fix it?
