Take note of surveyors

Dotti Lai Lam from the University of Johannesburg writes:

Please be aware of vehicles pretending to be part of an important and legitimate study called the Gauteng City Region Observatory’s Quality of Life survey, which is currently being conducted all over Gauteng.

Aside from official materials about the study, all our fieldworkers have plastic identity cards with their photographs and ID thereon.

Some are transported in marked vehicles. The fieldworkers will be working in all kinds of neighbourhoods around the province over the next few months.

They go to specific dwellings in each area to carry out a selection process among those who live there to identify the survey respondents to be interviewed for the study. Your participation in this extremely positive initiative is greatly appreciated.
