In the primary school category, Herculaas and Lambert Louw showcased their technical skills and teamwork, earning a well-deserved silver medal.

The high school also made its mark, with Rohan Swanepoel and Estian Pretorius delivering an impressive performance to secure a third-place finish. Competing against some of the best young minds in the country, their result is a testament to their hard work and passion for robotics.

Annemarie Lombard, executive head of Curro Krugersdorp, expressed immense pride in both campuses, emphasising the effort that went into preparing for the competition.

“To compete at this level and emerge among the top schools in South Africa is an incredible accomplishment,” she shared. “Our learners have demonstrated determination, creativity and true Curro spirit,” she said.

Maboya concluded that as coding and robotics continue to grow in importance within education, achievements like these position Curro Krugersdorp as a leader in nurturing future-ready learners.
