A Grade 12 learner at Krugersdorp High School has been nominated to attend the 2019 Ambassador Leadership Summit in the USA during the July school holidays.
Part of the summit’s itinerary involves visiting top universities such as Harvard, Yale, Johns Hopkins and the University of California, Los Angeles. Participants will meet influential leaders and will have the opportunity to network and develop friendships with various students from different countries.
As you can imagine, the cost of such a trip is high, and poses a financial hurdle for the learner. However, she is determined and motivated to attend the summit in order to equip herself for the future. Such an opportunity comes once in lifetime.
I’m writing this letter humbly requesting assistance. I’m appealing to individuals, companies or organisations to help her with financial contributions. Any amount will be welcomed.
