Mogale City Traffic Department, kindly urgently attend to the robot at the Randfontein Road turn-off to Krugersdorp/ Soweto.
In the past few weeks, drivers coming from Witpoortjie and passing through this robot to Kagiso have observed the following:
• The caution or yellow light does not function – it totally does not exist.
• After the light turns green it turns directly to red! This has a great potential to cause accidents as several cars would suddenly stop in the middle of the intersection after the robot, which ought first to caution motorists, suddenly turns red.
What I cannot fathom is the habitual presence of traffic officers at this robot or in that vicinity, but nothing seems to be done about the faulty robot. This is shocking indeed!
