Your comment ‘The ANC remains the political organisation preferred by the majority of resident of Mogale City’ needs to be explained as follows – what were you both smoking or dreaming” to even think this?

The ANC is definitely NOT the preferred political party in Mogale City. Maybe you had a very bad dream concocting this, but not in reality, so wake up from your horrible nightmare and smell the coffee!

Lucky Sele and Raliphi ‘Master Push’ Xolelizwe should actually be ashamed of themselves promoting and supporting the crooked ANC.

This probably is not important to you, but it is to us, your ANC NEC leaders have not paid their staff since October last year, while they were all paid their salaries every month including holding the ANC birthday celebrations which cost millions?

They only managed to pay October salaries in December, but November and December are still outstanding in February 2022 – latest news states that unpaid ANC staff face eviction from their homes. This is absolutely scandalous. They were treating their employees like cheap labour while everyone else received full pay!

Shame on both of you, you should hang your heads in shame instead of saying the ANC is the ‘preferred party’ in Mogale.

No, the ANC is not the preferred party at all. Mogale City has been left in a dreadful decaying, dilapidated run-down state all thanks to the ANC for allowing this to happen.

The useless, incompetent, and bungling ANC council did absolutely nothing for the residents of Mogale and caused the decay, deterioration and decline of all our infrastructures and other facilities in Mogale during the past years while being in control.

You must have forgotten to read the Auditor General’s report of previous years about the unauthorised irregular, fruitless, and wasteful expenditure incurred, including increases given to themselves while the infrastructure and other amenities all around Mogale went to rack and ruin and are still in decay!

Let’s not forget the overdraft facility under your rule, that incurred interest penalties of almost R420 000 in 2021.

Your other comment: “… our focus has been and will remain to improve the levels of service delivery and to serve our communities better”. Really? How ridiculous and what an absolute joke.

You had your chance during the past five or more years and did absolutely nothing for the City. The ANC ruined Mogale City – you ruined our infrastructure, and all you did was cause further rot, decay and deterioration in the City that looks like a shantytown and slum City!

If you were the ‘preferred’ party, why is Mogale City and the level of service you rendered in the past years no better today, but in a worse and poorer state? The ANC has not improved, or added value, or developed anything in our City, except RUIN and run it into the ground, which the ANC has done.

This is evident to the residents of Mogale in the decaying public facilities and amenities, dilapidated infrastructure, resources, and electrical substations – all in disrepair and an extremely bad condition for the past years. The ANC has never and will never improve the level of service to residents! Past years are proof enough. The ANC ran Mogale not into the ground, but buried it underground!

In addition to these disasters you caused, Mogale City Local Municipality did not apply, act or practice ‘Batho Pele’ principles as required by local government, since ‘Batho Pele’ means PEOPLE FIRST, before considering your own needs or yourself.

How does one apply it? By identifying small but important things that can improve the quality of service you provide to your customers immediately.

“It’s the government’s White Paper for transforming public service delivery, and about giving good customer service to the users of government services. ALL public servants are required to practice it.

The Mogale ANC Council failed dismally in ALL and every respect in Mogale City, so may you never ever take control of our City again.
