LETTER: Picking up/ dropping your kids off at school – ‘Please be patient’
Parent writes how we should all be more patient when dropping off and picking up our kids at school.

Please can I recommend an article about the safety of dropping off and collecting our kids in the morning and afternoon at schools?
I drive past three schools to get my kids to school and back. Some drivers – and not just the transport companies (some of which are reckless and dangerous drivers) are parents who are impatient and dangerously ignoring things like pedestrian crossings.
We need to make people more aware.
We all have to get our kids to school and we all have places to go to after dropping off or picking up our kids.
We just need to be more patient and tolerant around the schools in the mornings and afternoons for the safety of our children.
