KHS’ boys hockey impress
The first boys hockey team made their mark at the Noordvaal Tournament.
Krugersdorp High School’s first hockey boys team started the third term with a winning bang.
As a build-up to the Noordvaal Tournament, Krugersdorp High School (KHS) took on Hoërskool Jan Viljoen and won 7-0.
“In a well-structured and disciplined game played on Hoërskool Noordheuwel’s Astroturf, we came up against Maragon Private Schools, also winning with 10-0,” said Lauren Jooste-Coetsee, KHS’ marketing director.
Competing against Helpmekaar Kollege at the Wits Astroturf, KHS again won 8-1.
“Over and above the exciting winning games, KHS has had the privilege of working with South African men’s hockey team coach, Fabian Gregory. He has spent the past week working with both the boys and girls on and off the field. This has been a superb learning experience for the players and coaches.”
