What is a horse show without a proper theme?

Yolanda Steyn, owner of Oppistal, is always excited to host training shows for all her riders. There is always a theme to the, creating a fun and highly anticipated affair.

Tyla-Rae Lotter dressed as a Harlequin and took first place in Horsemanship.

Their most recent show theme was ‘The Circus’ with all the riders showing off their beautiful costumes and their amazing skills in Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Reining, Dressage and Trail events.

Situated in the tranquil country setting of the Sterkfontein Country Estate, Oppistal welcomed the family and friends of the riders who had come along to join in the fun and support the riders. Everyone who attended the day was dressed up, making the event both picturesque and colourful. Each rider had a different approach, with unique costumes and make-up.

Molanda Steyn got the crowd cheering with her exciting, fast-paced lope in the Reining class.
