No limits for motocross riders

Some riders put up some seriously good lap times.

Dirt, mud and dust are a must for these motocross riders.

Motocross is one of the toughest sports in the world and its extreme challenges are hard to match.

Who said motocross is just for boys? This female rider proves otherwise.

Dirt Bronco Raceway recently presented the third round of the Mayfair Gearbox Gauteng Motocross Series.

The series is a six-event race and is based on lap time. The riders are divided into various classes. Almost 100 riders could not wait to participate in their classes and achieve the best possible lap time.

Some riders put up some seriously good lap times.

The juniors were divided into 50cc, 65cc and 85cc bike categories. The women’s race was an open race, while the seniors participated with MX1, MX2 and MX3 bikes.

“It was a great day with a few minor crashes, but no serious incidents. We ran three heats in each class,” said Sean Conrad from Dirt Bronco.

Sean also added that some riders put up some seriously good lap times. The fourth round will take place at Terra Topia in Randburg on 1 July.

The race managers invite everyone to join in the thrill, as well as the fun, at the next motocross adventure.
