Round 3 was held in Durban in July, and there he finished 1st. The last round was held at Zwartkops Raceway in September, where he came 3rd out of an overall 13 entries.

He won an overall third place for his performance and stood proudly on the podium at the raceway.

He experienced some misfortune in the Vereeniging round, because he ended 1st in the first and second heats but 4th in the last heat because he was hit by a fellow competitor.

In Cape Town he qualified in third place but was also hit, spinning out and damaging his kart.

He had better luck in Round 3 when he won the Durban leg of the series. At Zwartkops, in the last round, he came 2nd the 1st heat and 3rd in the 2nd heat but unfortunately had a mechanical failure during heat 3 and came last. However, in the 4th heat he came back with a bang, achieving 1st place, but because of his disastrous third heat, was placed 3rd overall for the day.

He is currently busy with the Regional Series which consists of eight rounds and includes the Northern Regions of Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumulanga and North West. He is currently in second position in this series.
