Goodbye Impala and hello Summit

"We will now be trading as Summit Gymnastics. Our club has grown in numbers and diversity and has reached new heights in high-level artistic gymnastics."

Recently, Impala Gymnastics Club announced some good news, and some bad news. The bad news is that there will be no more Impala Gymnastics Club. However the good news is that they will be known as Summit Gymnastics Club from now on.

According to Summit coach, Lauren Smith, the name was changed to start a fresh new club. She also explained that it is now separate from Impala Trampoline Club.

“We will now be trading as Summit Gymnastics. Our club has grown in numbers and diversity and has reached new heights in high-level artistic gymnastics,” she said

“We also changed the name to avoid confusion between the two clubs.”

She added that despite their name change, the trampoline club will continue to exist as Impala Trampoline Club.

“We look forward to kicking off the new competitive season as Summit Gymnastics. Thank you to all our gymnasts and parents for your continued support and commitment,” she concluded.
