Mud and dust left at the Dirt
"I finally got over my fear of jumping a double and step-up and I felt really comfortable on my bike."
Round 2 of the 2018 Regional Motocross (MX) Championship Northern Regions went smoothly as the overcast sky and drizzle kept the main track at Dirt Bronco in Luipaardsvlei wet enough to lay the dust.
It was a perfect day for racing. The races started early on Saturday morning, 17 March, and all the well-known names in MX were scattered over the track.

The track was just muddy enough to have good traction and create spectacular circumstances for riders young and old.
The cold weather was overpowered by the warm support of the spectators and everyone seemed to have a positive attitude towards the racers and the weather.

There were one or two minor accidents but no one was hurt beyond a few scrapes and bruises.
Round 3 of the Northern Regions will be held on Saturday, 9 June at Terra Topia.
