Nothing keeps these athletes from sporting fun

This event is hosted every year by the Krugersdorp Lions Club and serves as a fun outing for all residents without them even having to leave their doorstep.

The Krugersdorp Lions Club hosted yet another successful sports day for the West Rand Association for the Physically Disabled.

40 residents of the association participated in the annual sports day.

This event serves as a fun outing for all residents, without them even having to leave their doorstep.

Each resident had the opportunity to participate in four activities. These activities included catching fish with the help of rods and magnets, throwing a Frisbee into a hula-hoop, mini lawn bowling and bowling with a ball and some plastic pins.

Even though it wasn’t easy, the residents looked past their physical disabilities and accepted every challenge with a smile. Each resident also received a medal, a goodie bag and lunch, all of which was sponsored by the Lions.
