Mamelodi Sundowns fans help relaunch branch

Mamelodi Sundowns fans in Mogale City can once again unite as the branch was relaunched while they also gave back to the community.

All Mamelodi Sundowns fans take note: the Mogale City branch has officially reopened.

The Lajava Guest Lodge was abuzz late last year when the Mamelodi Sundowns Mogale branch relaunched and to celebrate the event they decided to give something back.

“We as Mamelodi Sundowns fans in Mogale City were ready to make a difference to the children in the community,” said Matome Petja.

They had a recruitment drive and also visited the children of Munsieville where they handed out goodies as part of their mission to give back to the community.

The day was also celebrated with performances by Mamelodi Sundowns Gauteng South artists such as Vusi, BTM and Kasieville.

A new executive committee for the Mogale branch was chosen, and the performance and behaviour of the members were awarded with certificates of appreciation.

Lucky Takachana received a certificate for best male attendance, while Lizeka Chantsula received the certificate for best female attendance.

The best newcomer was Gugu Mandlazi and the best-disciplined member was Joba Mashaba.

Thabani Ndlovu was voted the branche’s most active member.
