Help two youth reach their Talent America dancing dreams

Two dancers from Synergy Worx have been chosen to compete against the best of the best at Talent America's 50-year competition but they need your help to get there.

The dancers from Synergy Worx dance studio have been exceeding all expectations. This was evident when two of the studio’s dancers recently qualified for Talent America’s 50-year celebration.

Bella Heunes (11) and Stephanie van der Riedt (29) will be competing virtually on July 8 after qualifying for the contemporary and contemporary fusion divisions.

Dancers will be judged by industry-leading directors, managers, model agents, dance agents, music executives, record labels, producers, publishers and entertainment attorneys.

Stephanie has been dancing for five years while Bella has been dancing for the past two years. Bella has also been chosen to dance for the Roodepoort Theatre in one of the Jozi Youth Company’s shows in July. She also took first place at the recent Next Level dance competition.

Coach and biggest fan, Natasha Rizzo was over the moon.

“I am very proud of my babies. They worked very hard and put in many hours to perfect their skills.”

Both these dancers have also already qualified to compete in the 2024 International Dance Competition which will be held in Mauritius. Next up for the studios dancers are to qualify for the South African Championships. The trials and semi-finals are in September followed by the finals in October.

Many of these dancers work very hard and get offered amazing opportunities to travel and compete in other countries but unfortunately, there are not always funds for them to travel. If you would like to help them achieve their dancing dreams, you can contact Natasha on 079 950 0708. Twenty-two dancers would all like to travel to the international competition in 2024 if they qualify.
