West Rand Badminton Club reach new heights at national and provincial levels

The West Rand Badminton Club showed off their skills and accomplished some amazing achievements recently.

Coach for the club, Reaan Immelman, said the club performed exceptionally well this year with players excelling at district, provincial or national levels.

“Three players were selected for the Johannesburg District Badminton Association (JDBA) as well as the provincial team. These players include Danae Conradie and Daniel Venter (both U13) as well as Gerhard Venter (U17),” Reaan revealed.

He added proudly that Danae Conradie was also selected for the South African team and is ranked fourth in the country.

Reaan concluded that he himself was also selected as the Provincial JDBA coach for the U13 SA Tournament that was held in Cape Town recently.
