Jeppe Boys High manhandles Linden
Despite their best efforts, Linden found themselves completely overwhelmed by the assault unleashed by Jeppe.
Krugersdorp — Jeppe High School for Boys once again demonstrated why they are among the top rugby schools in the region when they gave Hoërskool Linden a sound thrashing on day two of the Best of the West Festival.
Jeppe and Linden’s second teams ran onto the field shortly before 14:00 and it was war from the word go.
Despite their best efforts, Linden found themselves completely overwhelmed by the assault unleashed by Jeppe.
Within the first 15 minutes, Jeppe had already sent players across the Linden try line three times, and with a half-time score of 25–0, one could not help but worry that the boys in white may lose steam in the second half, considering the hectic pace they had set early on.

The first half had barely begun when Linden put points on the scoreboard, but Jeppe simply took it in their stride and renewed their onslaught.
Jeppe refused to give even an inch, putting a firm stop to any attempt by Linden at fighting back with a near bullet-proof defence game.
Jeppe’s solid front row work simply overpowered and overran Linden, leaving the Randburg team – and onlookers – stunned.
Contrary to predictions, they never tired or lost pace. The game seemed to speed up significantly in the second half, perhaps spurred on by the fact that Linden managed to score against them.

Nevertheless, Linden put on a formidable fight, refusing to give up until the last whistle.
The Linden boys showed heart and determination in the face of great adversity.
