According to MotoGP’s official website, Darryn placed 21st, missing 20th place by under half a second.
On his official website, he announced this was the first grand prix he had finished in a while, where he had only finished three before this one.

“We’re missing some time on track now, but I’m glad that I was able to bring the bike home, gather some information and some feeling again. I feel like we made some steps forward, and I was hoping that on the race day, with a good start, I could have reached the points, and at some point I was there, but I was struggling to manage the front with the heat, especially in the group,” he explained.
We’ve got a lot of work to do, but overall I’m happy we’ve got some more laps under the belt, hoping to make another step forward in Assen,” he concluded.
Darryn will race again at the Motul Grand Prix of the Netherlands on June 27 to 29, where he is currently placed 20th in the championship standings.
