According to MotoGP’s official website, Darryn was not classified, however, he is placed 20th in the World Championship standings.
On Gresini Racing’s official website, Darryn said it was a pretty difficult weekend.
“Obviously, coming back from an injury, it’s never easy alone, but unfortunately, we’ve been suffering some issues,” he added.
“The team did everything they could for the race, and everything started OK. As I did the long lap, I was slowly gaining the feeling again. Unfortunately, we suffered another issue and we had to retire from the race.
A disappointing way to end our weekend, but the important thing is to figure out what happened and sort it out for the next race, rejoining the line we had at the beginning of the year,” he concluded.
Darryn will race again at the Brembo Grand Prix of Italy on June 20–22.
