Darryn bounces back with some points in Germany
With a tough season behind him, Darryn Binder bagged some points in Germany. He now sets his sights on Brno for the Tissot Grand Prix of Czechia.
Local MotoGP2 racer Darryn Binder placed 15th at the Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany this past weekend (July 11 to 13).
According to MotoGP’s official website, a 15th place earned Darryn one point towards the Championship Standings.
“We’re coming off quite a few difficult races, so this weekend we’ve been trying to find our way back, and I can say, we did find some positives and a little bit of speed. Unfortunately, I never made it to Q2,” said Darryn.

It was a dry race for him, without a lot of time on Friday.
“I knew it could have been a little bit tricky. Overall, I think we have more positives than the previous grand prix, so I might not have been the fastest, but at least we had a bit more pace and managed to keep it up. Unfortunately, we scored just one point, but let’s take the positives and keep focus and working. We’ll try again in Brno.”
He is 21st in the Championship Standings and will race again at the Tissot Grand Prix of Czechia this weekend, July 18 to 20.
