Brad wraps up MotoGP season with eighth-place finish

Brad Binder finishes the 2025 MotoGP season in eighth place, closing a challenging year.

Krugersdorp MotoGP racer Brad Binder took to the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for the Motul Grand Prix of the Valencian Community, concluding the 2025 season.

The 22nd and final round of the season took place on November 16, where Binder finished eighth, placing him in the top 10 according to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.

Reflecting on the season, Binder noted his highlights included two top-five finishes, with a best result of fourth in Indonesia.

“I had a good start again, not quite like yesterday [the Sprint], but I wanted to pick off more riders. I lacked a bit more pace, and the best I could manage today was eighth,” he said.

After a challenging season, Binder felt there was room for improvement.

Things did not gel this season, even if we did make some small improvements at the end,” he said.

Binder finished the season 11th in the Championship Standings. The 2026 season will begin in Thailand, with the first round kicking off on February 27 to March 1.
