Brad Binder secures top-five finish at Portugal MotoGP

Brad Binder battled fiercely at the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Portugal, finishing in the top five and setting the tone for a strong season finale.

For the second time this MotoGP season, local racer Brad Binder placed in the top five at the second-to-last race for the season.

The Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Portugal saw Binder place fifth on November 9, and according to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, he fought for his spot and ultimately got his second-best result of the season.

Binder was very happy about his performance.

“I felt I could do something decent after the Sprint, and the confidence I had. I felt great on the bike and my guys did a great job,” he said.

Off the bat, he had a great start and was able to push on from there.

“It was nice to battle a bit and good also that the changes we made give a direction for what we need further,” he concluded.

Brad is currently 11th in the Championship standings with 145 points. His final race for the season will be from 14 to 16 November at the Motul Grand Prix of the Valencian Community.
