Team N’zuri excels at fire and rescue challenge
Team N’zuri shone at SAESI's Fit to Fight Fire Competition, bringing home multiple top finishes for individuals and teams.
Team N’zuri Ultimate Firefighters competed in the Southern African Emergency Services Institute’s (SAESI) annual Fit to Fight Fire Competition in Boksburg, returning with a second-place finish and several individual placements.
According to their coach, Manie Gouws, SAESI once again hosted its Fire and Rescue Conference at the end of November – an event that has been running since 2017.
“This conference sees fire and rescue personnel from all over the country come together for two days to participate in symposiums and competitions relating to fire and rescue,” he explained.
Gouws added that the conference benefits the service by creating space to discuss growth and shortfalls, while exhibitors showcase the latest fire and rescue technology on the market.
N’zuri entered two teams – one in the open age group and one in the over-40 category.
