Racing at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello from May 29 to 31, Binder started 14th on the grid and crossed the finish line in 11th place, 21.479 seconds behind the race winner.

Binder said he had not expected to finish the weekend with two 11th-place results.

“We had some highs and lows here, but generally we missed some pace. I was not able to roll enough, especially through sector three and onto the main straight,” he said.

It was difficult to find what we missed to go with the group in front of me. We were stuck a bit in no man’s land. We need to find some speed soon,” he added.

Binder is currently 12th in the championship standings and will be back in action at the Grand Prix of Hungary this weekend, June 5 to 7.
