Brad misses top 10 finish after hard-fought Spanish GP

Starting from 13th on the grid, Brad Binder battled through a challenging Spanish Grand Prix but narrowly missed out on a top 10 finish after a tough race at Jerez.

MotoGP racer Brad Binder competed in the Grand Prix of Spain, where he narrowly missed out on a top 10 finish.

The race took place over the weekend of April 24 to 26 at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain, and according to the Red Bull Factory Racing team, Binder started from 13th place on the grid.

“He circulated on the edge of the first ten positions and made sure of 11th at the flag,” the team said.

Binder said it was not an easy race for him.

“I got a decent enough start but then missed some speed, and the front pushed when I leaned into corners,” he added.

He said that to keep it under control, braking earlier was essential.

“When the tyre performance dropped, then I could get in easier, but it was really tricky and very hard to be clean. A more difficult race than I anticipated, and we need this test to figure out some changes to hit the point,” he concluded.

Brad is currently 11th in the championship standings and will race again at the Grand Prix of France this weekend, May 8 to 10.
