Join Garden World in partnership with KykNET’s Villa Rosa for their annual Carols by Candlelight evening on 6 December at 6.30pm hosted by David Louw (Petrus from Villa Rosa) and Liane Heyl (Boeboe from Vetkoekpaleis).
The Deutsche Liedertafel Choir under the guidance of Carola Krzywanski will entertain the public with traditional Christmas carols where you will be invited to participate in this beautiful annual celebration in song.
Liane Heyl will do a special song with her drama children for Christmas.
There also will be a minute of silence where balloons for loved ones will be released.
The artists that will perform includes Angelica Tee, Linda Killian, Jasmyn, Rian Swanepoel, Luchelle, Leandrie, Steyn de Wet, Zita Pretorius and George Meiring.
Come and meet Petrus, Marius, Vicky and Prof Retief from the soapie Villa Rosa where they will entertain you together with the hosts of the evening.
The picturesque Garden World in Muldersdrift, especially decorated with Christmas lights for the occasion, has hosted this annual charity event for many years. This year all donations and gifts received will benefit the Abraham Kriel Childcare.
This is an evening for the whole family and you are invited to bring your own picnic basket. While entrance is free to this joyful occasion, you are requested to support this worthy cause with donations and gifts for the children in need.
Candles and Carol sheets will be made available on the evening.
The Christmas Craft Market for those special gifts will be open until 9pm on the evening and there will be a food stall for those who do not wish to bring their own picnic basket.
