Entering the Festive Season in song and style
Garden World set the tone for this year's Festive Season.
Christmas cheer with a dash of elegance and glamour phrases the atmosphere felt at Garden World at this year’s carols by candlelight evening held on Friday 6 December.
The sight of fairy lights wrapped around trees and Christmas music in the background set the tone as guests started arriving early at the venue, which soon was filled to capacity with attendees in a Christmas mood and ready to sing.
This year’s carols by candlelight was in partnership with popular kykNET soap Villa Rosa and was hosted by MC David Louw (Petrus from Villa Rosa) a and group of Villa Rosa actors residing on the West Rand.
Guest had the opportunity to talk one-on-one with Petrus, Marius, Vicky and Prof Retief as they are known on screen.
The Deutsche Liedertafel Choir under the guidance of Carola Krzywanski entertained guests with traditional Christmas carols and artists who performed included Angelica Tee, Linda Killian, Jasmyn, Rian Swanepoel, Luchelle, Leandrie, Steyn de Wet and Zita.
Donations and gifts from the event were handed over to Abraham Kriel Childcare who enjoyed the evening with Garden World.
