Time to shop with a stun-gun, Krugersdorp?

How safe do you feel when you go to a local shopping centre?

When I go to a mall or shopping centre, I usually have a plan of action ready. Sometimes I will have a shopping list in hand, but most of the time I know exactly what I am looking for.

Never has it ever crossed my mind to be aware of robbers or any crime activity that might be taking place.
Of course I am vigilant and never leave my purse or handbag unattended, but other than that, I am never more alert than what I should be.

This perhaps should change because there is definitely a trend with shopping centres being targeted nowadays.
However, I do feel robbed of my shopping pleasure. This time is usually where I take a breather from the everyday hussle and bussle and focus on what I need.

I don’t know who to blame for this yet, but I know this needs to stop, and fast.
