Water safety in Krugersdorp

Every summer we do at least one story a week about a drowning. And it is not just about children drowning, but about adults too.

This past weekend a three-year-old almost drowned, but due to the swift action of his parents and the paramedics, his life was saved.
Accidents happen so quickly … there is nothing we can do about it, but how we react to these accidents is what makes it a life or death situation.

Are you well prepared for when accidents happen?
The best advice I can give is to equip yourself to the best of your ability.

Always have emergency numbers handy, be aware of your surroundings and act swiftly when an accident happens.
By just being prepared is already half of the work done.
