So this week is week three of my four week diet.

Things this time round are a little easier and eating salad, vegetables and fruit have become second nature.

Of course I still miss my favourite junk food and trying to stay on the healthy route is more exhausting than I thought, but my scale gives me good news every time I climb on it!

The lesson I learned from week two? Perhaps more than ever I realised that we tend to overeat.

It has become the norm to stuff our faces with everything we see on our plates … and then to dish up seconds.

Our parents taught us that it is rude to not finish the food on your plate, but I truly believe that we dish up too much in the first place.

Just by changing that habit, I eat less and feel much fuller and satisfied.

This week I am not so strict with myself and I am venturing more into variety to keep things interesting.

Portion control is the key!
