Dying in an accident is never a natural way of leaving this world.

We here at the News share the heartache of the rest of the community and hope that the family of young Pieter-Schalk Grobbelaar find solace in the arms of their loved ones.

I know that there is nothing a person can say to someone who lost a loved one to make them feel better.

Time heals all wounds and even though I say it with a lump in my throat, I truly speak from experience.

It’s always when a person dies when we realise how precious life really is.

May you rest in peace young Pieter-Schalk, your light will forever twinkle in the night sky.
