Christmas Experience

4–6 DECEMBER — There will be a Christmas Experience at the Real Life Church, 86 Viljoen Street, Krugersdorp North from 6pm until 10pm throughout the three days. Spectacular lights, kids activities, live characters, a Christmas market, delicious food, Christmas carols, mini-train rides and much more will be available at an entry fee of R10 per person. All proceeds to go to the Door of Care and Safety organisation.

5 DECEMBER — Silverstar is gearing up to become a holiday paradise right on your doorstep once again … only this time you can look forward to the supersized version! Silverstar’s Beach Festival is coming back and staying until 11 January. It’s bigger, better and in a new location to maximise your summertime beach experience! There will also be crazy carnival rides and live entertainment, an under-18s beach festival and a New Year’s Eve bash – so everyone in the family is sure to be entertained. Costs are R35 for adults, R10 for children and R20 for pensioners.

Santa’s World of Wonder

5 DECEMBER — Santa’s World of Wonder comes alive at Cradlestone Mall with an extravagant range from the Baubles factory, baking workshops, toy town, Santa’s post office and Santa’s village. Mystery Ghost Bus Tour

6 DECEMBER — The Mystery Ghost Bus will run its last tours of the year in Johannesburg. There will be ‘Pub and Grub’ stops, poltergeists, electronic voice phenomenon recordings, dowsing rods, castles, a dark haunted room, graveyards and much more. Tour starts at 7pm until midnight. Hike the Koppies
