23 FEBRUARY — Join in on a 8,5km hike (takes three hours) across Melville Koppies. Learn about who used to live there while you enjoy the peace, and be surprised by the ways in which animals and plants interact. Hikers should be reasonably fit. Hike sets off at 8.30am sharp. West Side Craft Market
23 FEBRUARY — Join the West Side Craft and Food Market from 10am to 3pm at Ramkiki Country Restaurant and Conference Centre. There will be secure parking with no entrance fee, it's a pet-friendly market and there will be live music.
Magical Sea and Wonderland Exhibition
21 FEBRUARY — Experience the Magical Sea and Wonderland Exhibition at the Ticketpro Dome until 23 February from 9am to 7pm. Tickets range from R80 to R100 per person. 26 FEBRUARY — The Horticultural Society invites you to a talk by Marian Laserson on Progress in the Rehabilitation of Paterson Park and Reinstatement of the River. It will take place at the Roosevelt Park Recreation Centre on Preller Drive, Roosevelt Park. Members entrance is R20 and visitors pay R30, which includes refreshments.
