Cedar Tree Night Market

13 MARCH — The Cedar Tree Night Market will take place from 6pm to 10pm at Khosa Sports Club in Kenmare. There will be live music, and pets are welcome too. Entrance is free. For details, call 081 500 6884.

Prime Circle at Barnyard

14 MARCH — South African rock band Prime Circle will be taking the stage at Barnyard Theatre, Silverstar, as part of their Innocence Tour. Guided Walk

15 MARCH — Join in on a 4km guided walk (takes three hours) on Melville Koppies and revel in its beauty. Learn about animals, plants and people who lived there, and are still living on the koppies. U3A Monthly Lunch

18 MARCH — The U3A West Rand will have their monthly lunch in a lovely setting overlooking a dam at Rusty Hook Restaurant on Johan Street, Honeydew at 11.30am for noon. The U3A is a learning cooperative for ‘third agers’. This term was coined to refer to what South Africans tend to call senior citizens or older people from all walks of life who are no longer in full-time employment. Bookings now open.
